First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the internet or at physical casinos for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are flat broke. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having fun until you decide to pay attention to your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you try the quicker you lose.
When you see that you’re ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever functions. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set to the side prior to beginning your action. DO NOT go over that limit, regardless how appealing. If you actually win, put that in a separate cup. Don’t spend your wins no matter what. As soon as you’ve gambled through your original set limit, stop. Leave, whether it’s on the web or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, another time.
Keep in mind, betting is assumed to be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t manage the cost, do not even start.
